By the end of this lesson, Olivia will be able to explore the concepts of dumping and pouring while engaging in fun activities that promote learning and development.

Materials and Prep

Materials: - Various containers like cups, bowls, and buckets - Water or sand for pouring and dumping - A plastic sheet for easy clean-up

Prep: Make sure the area is safe for Olivia to play and explore. Have towels ready for any spills.

Activities

1. Pouring Station: Set up a pouring station with different sized containers for Olivia to pour water or sand from one container to another.

2. Dumping Game: Create a dumping game where Olivia can fill a bucket with small objects and then dump them out.

3. Water Play: Fill a basin with water and provide Olivia with different containers to pour and dump water, observing how the water moves and splashes.
