Objective

By the end of this lesson, you will learn about life on a farm and some of the animals and crops that can be found there.

Materials and Prep

Materials needed: paper, crayons, and your imagination.

Prepare by thinking about what you already know about farms and what you would like to learn.

Activities

  • Draw a Farm: Use your paper and crayons to draw a farm. Include animals, crops, and a farmer.
  • Animal Sounds: Practice making the sounds of different farm animals. Moo like a cow, oink like a pig, and cluck like a chicken.
  • Plant a Seed: Find a small pot and plant a seed. Water it and watch it grow just like crops on a farm.
