Activities
Create a Ten Frame: Draw a rectangle on the paper and divide it into 2 rows with 5 boxes in each row. Explain to Kelsey that each box can hold one object.
Counting Practice: Use small objects like buttons or coins to fill the ten frame. Let Kelsey count as she fills each box.
Simple Addition: Ask Kelsey to place some objects in the ten frame and then add more objects. Help her count the total number of objects in the frame.
