3. Use tape to add any extra decorations or details to your boxcar.
Talking Points
- Boxcars are like little homes on wheels. They can take people on exciting adventures!
- Say: "Let's use our markers to make our boxcar colorful and fun, just like the ones in the Boxcar Children stories!"
- Windows and doors are important for a boxcar so that people can see inside and go in and out easily.
- Say: "Imagine all the places you can go in your boxcar. What do you see outside the windows?"
- Tape can help us stick things together securely. Let's use it to add some special touches to our boxcar.
- Say: "Great job! Your boxcar looks amazing. Now, let's pretend we are going on a journey together in our new boxcar!"
