Talking Points
- Multiplication is like adding groups of numbers: "When we multiply, we are adding groups of numbers together. For example, 3 x 4 means adding 3 four times."
- Multiplication helps us quickly find the total: "Multiplication helps us find the total when we have groups of the same numbers. It's like a shortcut to adding!"
- Practice makes perfect: "The more we play multiplication games, the better we get at remembering our times tables. It's all about practice!"
