Activities
- Introduction to the Animal Kingdom: Begin the lesson by discussing what the Animal Kingdom is and why it is important to study animals. Show pictures or cards of different animals and ask the student to identify them.
- Classifying Animals: Explain to the student that animals can be classified into different groups based on their characteristics. Provide examples of different groups such as mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, and fish. Ask the student to sort the animal pictures or cards into these groups.
- Research and Presentation: If internet access is available, encourage the student to choose one animal from each group and research more about them. They can find information about their habitat, diet, and unique features. Once they have gathered the information, ask them to present their findings to you or any family members.
