Objective

By the end of this lesson, you will be able to bake delicious cookies and learn about the history of baking.

Materials and Prep

Materials Needed:

  • Ingredients for cookies (flour, sugar, butter, eggs, etc.)
  • Baking tools (mixing bowls, measuring cups, baking sheets)
  • Oven and oven mitts
  • Apron and chef's hat (optional but fun!)

Prep:

  • Make sure all ingredients are measured and ready to use
  • Preheat the oven to the required temperature

Activities

1. Learn about the history of baking and how it has evolved over time.

2. Measure and mix the ingredients to make cookie dough.

3. Shape the dough into cookies and place them on a baking sheet.

4. Bake the cookies in the oven and wait for them to become golden brown.
