Objective
By the end of this lesson, you will be able to create your own map of a fun imaginary place!
Materials and Prep
You will need:
- A piece of paper
- Coloring pencils or markers
- Your imagination!
No prior knowledge is needed, just be ready to have fun!
Activities
1. Start by drawing the outline of your imaginary place on the paper. It could be an island, a city, or even a magical kingdom!
2. Add different features to your map like mountains, rivers, forests, and buildings. Use different colors to make it exciting!
3. Don't forget to include a key to explain what each symbol on your map represents. For example, a blue squiggle could be a river!
4. Once your map is complete, give it a name and show it off to your family or friends!
