Objective

By the end of this lesson, you will be able to trace and write your name "Hayden" neatly.

Materials and Prep

Materials needed:
- Printed Name Tracing Sheet for "Hayden"
- Pencil
- Eraser
- Coloring pencils or markers (optional)
Prep:
- Make sure the Name Tracing Sheet is printed and ready for use.

Activities

1. Start by tracing the letters of your name "Hayden" on the Name Tracing Sheet.
2. Practice writing your name on a blank sheet of paper using the traced letters as a guide.
3. Decorate the letters of your name with coloring pencils or markers to make it fun and colorful.
4. Show your name "Hayden" to a family member or friend proudly!

Talking Points

  • Each letter in your name has a special sound. Let's trace them one by one. Say "H" like "hay", "a" like "apple", "y" like "yellow", "d" like "dog", "e" like "elephant", "n" like "nest".
  • When you write your name, start from left to right, just like reading a book. Let's practice writing "Hayden" together.
  • Coloring your name can make it look even more beautiful. Choose your favorite colors to make each letter special!
  • Once you finish writing your name, let's show it to someone you love and tell them how you did it all by yourself!
