Objective

By the end of this lesson, you will be able to practice counting and hand-eye coordination skills by rolling a dice and throwing the corresponding number of plastic eggs into a basket.

Materials and Prep

Materials needed:
- 1 dice
- Plastic eggs
- Basket

No special preparations are needed for this lesson.

Activities

1. Roll the dice and count the number that appears on the dice.

2. Take that number of plastic eggs and throw them one by one into the basket.

3. Repeat the process several times, trying to improve your aim and counting skills.

Talking Points

  • When you roll the dice, say: "Let's see how many eggs we need to throw!"
  • As you count the number on the dice, say: "One, two, three, four..."
  • Encourage the student while throwing the eggs, say: "Great job! You're getting better at aiming!"
  • After each round, say: "Well done! Let's try again and see if we can get more eggs in the basket!"
