  • Colored pencils or markers
  • Reference images of Teen Titans characters (printouts or digital)

No prior knowledge or preparation is required for this lesson.

Activities

  1. Introduction to Teen Titans

Start by discussing the Teen Titans with the student. Talk about the characters, their powers, and their adventures. Show them some reference images of the Teen Titans characters.

  2. Create Your Own Teen Titan

Encourage the student to use their imagination and creativity to design their own Teen Titans character. Provide them with the blank paper and colored pencils/markers. They can draw their character and give it a name, powers, and a brief backstory.

  3. Art Appreciation

After completing their drawing, have the student share their creation with you. Discuss their character, asking questions about their design choices and what inspired them. Encourage them to explain their character's powers and personality.

  4. Display and Reflect

Once the discussion is over, display the student's artwork in a prominent place. Ask them to reflect on their experience and what they enjoyed most about creating their own Teen Titan.
