Before starting the lesson, familiarize yourself with different types of dinosaurs and their characteristics. You can use the books or printouts as reference materials.
Activities
- Introduce different dinosaurs by showing pictures or toys. Ask the student to name the dinosaurs and talk briefly about each one.
- Provide the student with paper and crayons, and ask them to draw their favorite dinosaur. Encourage them to be creative and use different colors.
- Help the student cut out their dinosaur drawing and assist them in attaching it to a popsicle stick using tape or glue, creating a dinosaur puppet.
- Engage in a role-playing activity where the student uses their dinosaur puppet to act out different scenarios. Encourage them to make dinosaur sounds and movements.
