Materials and Prep
Materials:
- Colorful pens
- Large paper
- A safe space for the child to move around
Prep:
- Ensure pens are safe for the child to play with
- Clear a space for the child to move around freely
Activities
1. Scribble Fun: Let the child explore the pens by scribbling on the large paper. Encourage them to open and close the pen caps.
2. Color Match: Show the child how to match the pen cap colors with the pens. Let them practice opening and closing the caps.
3. Pen Drop: Drop the pens one by one and encourage the child to pick them up and practice closing the caps.

- "Look at the pretty colors of the pens! Can you open and close the cap?"
- "Let's match the blue cap with the blue pen. Good job closing it!"
