- Ice cube tray
- Water
- Knife (with adult supervision)
- Cutting board
- Freezer
No special preparation needed, just make sure to have all the materials ready.
Activities
- Explore different fruits and talk about their colors, shapes, and tastes.
- Cut the fruits into small pieces with adult help and place them in the compartments of the ice cube tray.
- Pour water over the fruits in the tray and place it in the freezer to make fruit ice cubes.
- Once frozen, take out the fruit ice cubes and enjoy them in a glass of water or juice.
Take a closer look at each fruit and describe how it looks and feels. You can also taste a small piece to understand its flavor.
Use a kid-safe knife to cut the fruits into small chunks. Fill each compartment with a different fruit.
Slowly pour water over the fruits in the tray, making sure they are covered. Put the tray in the freezer and wait for the cubes to freeze.
Pop out the colorful fruit ice cubes and add them to a drink. Watch as they add flavor and color!
