Activities
1. Draw your own giant beanstalk reaching up to the sky. What do you think is at the top?
2. Create a character for your own version of Jack. What adventures will they have?
3. Draw a picture of the giant from the story. How big do you think he is?
Talking Points
- Jack was a brave boy who climbed a magical beanstalk. Say, "Jack was a brave boy who went on an adventure."
- The giant lived at the top of the beanstalk. Say, "The giant was very big and lived in the clouds."
- Jack found a golden goose in the giant's castle. Say, "Jack found a special golden goose."
- Jack outsmarted the giant and brought treasures back home. Say, "Jack was clever and brought treasures home."
- Jack's story teaches us to be brave and kind. Say, "Jack's story teaches us to be brave and kind to others."
