Activities
- Take a Nature Walk: Go outside and observe the natural environment. Look for different elements of nature such as plants, trees, animals, and rocks. Take notes or draw pictures of what you see in your nature observation journal.
- Weather Watch: Observe the current weather conditions. Look for signs of weather patterns, such as clouds, wind, or changes in temperature. Discuss how weather affects nature and the Earth.
- Rock Collection: Search for rocks of different shapes, sizes, and colors. Collect a few interesting rocks and examine them closely. Discuss how rocks are formed and the different types of rocks you found.
- Plant Investigation: Choose a plant or tree to study. Observe its leaves, flowers, and any other unique features. Discuss the importance of plants in nature and how they contribute to the Earth's ecosystem.
