Activities

  1. Research: Use your preferred method (books, online resources, etc.) to research and gather information about American Revolutionary War military and political figures. Take notes on their roles, contributions, and significance during the war.
  2. Character Profile: Choose one figure that interests you the most and create a character profile. Include their name, rank, role, key achievements, and any interesting facts or anecdotes. Use your notes from the research to complete the profile.
  3. Writing Prompt: Imagine you are a journalist during the American Revolutionary War. Write a newspaper article highlighting the accomplishments and impact of one of the figures you researched. Include an attention-grabbing headline, an engaging lead paragraph, and supporting details in the body of the article. Don't forget to include a concluding paragraph summarizing their overall significance.
