Materials and Prep
- Seeds (any type will do)
- Small pots or containers
- Soil
- Watering can or spray bottle
- Sunny spot for the pots
- Apron or old clothes to get dirty
No prior knowledge is required, just a willingness to get your hands dirty!
Activities

- Planting: Fill the pots with soil, plant the seeds at the recommended depth, and water them gently.
- Observation: Place the pots in a sunny spot and observe the seeds daily. Record any changes you see.
Talking Points
- Seed Structure: "Seeds contain everything needed to start a new plant, including the embryo and stored food."
- Germination: "Germination is the process by which a seed sprouts and begins to grow into a new plant."
- Water and Light: "Seeds need water and sunlight to germinate and grow. It's important not to overwater or underwater them."
- Patience: "Growing plants from seeds requires patience and care. Remember to observe and nurture your plants regularly."
