Objective

By the end of this lesson, you will be able to explore and observe the wonders of nature during our nature walk.

Materials and Prep

Materials Needed: Comfortable shoes, a hat, a water bottle, and a sense of curiosity.

Preparation: Dress appropriately for the weather and apply sunscreen if needed.

Activities

1. Listen for bird sounds and try to identify them.

2. Look for different types of leaves and compare their shapes and colors.

3. Find insects and observe their movements.

Talking Points

  • "Look at that bird! Can you hear it chirping? Birds sing to talk to each other and find friends."
  • "Wow, these leaves are all different! Some are big, some are small. Let's collect a few and make a leaf collage later."
  • "Look at that little bug crawling on the ground! Insects are tiny creatures that help plants grow."
