Materials and Prep
- Comfortable walking shoes - Sunscreen - Water bottle - Hat - Notebook and pencil - Curiosity and excitement for exploring nature!
Activities
1. Observe the different types of plants and trees along the path. Try to identify as many as you can. 2. Listen for sounds of birds and insects. Can you mimic any of the sounds you hear? 3. Look for different types of rocks or leaves on the ground. Pick up a few that catch your eye and examine them closely. 4. Find a spot to sit quietly and observe any animals or insects that come into view. What are they doing?

- Plants and Trees: "Plants and trees are like nature's lungs. They take in carbon dioxide and give out oxygen, which is what we need to breathe."
- Animal Sounds: "Birds chirp and insects buzz to communicate with each other. Can you guess what they might be saying?"
