Objective

By the end of this lesson, you will be able to build your own unique LEGO creation using your imagination and problem-solving skills.

Materials and Prep

Materials Needed:

  • Assorted LEGO bricks
  • LEGO baseplate

Prep:

Make sure your LEGO bricks are sorted and easily accessible for building.

Activities

  • Free Building: Use your LEGO bricks to build anything you can imagine. Let your creativity run wild!
  • Challenge Build: Set a timer for 10 minutes and see how tall of a tower you can build using only one color of LEGO bricks.
  • Story Building: Create a story using your LEGO creation as a setting. What characters live there? What adventures do they have?

  • LEGO is a type of toy that lets you build things. You can make houses, cars, animals, or anything you can think of.
  • When you build with LEGO, you can use your imagination to create new and exciting things.
  • It's okay if your creation doesn't look perfect the first time. You can always take it apart and try again.
  • LEGO helps us learn how to solve problems. If something doesn't work, we can try a different way.
