Objective
By the end of this lesson, the student will be able to have fun while learning English, Math, and Music through their interests in Cars, Fortnite, and Roblox.
Materials and Prep
- Toy cars
- Paper and crayons
- Counting objects (could be small toys, buttons, etc.)
- Music playlist
- No specific knowledge needed beforehand, just enthusiasm!
Activities
- English: Have the student write a short story about a car racing adventure in Fortnite or Roblox.
- Math: Count the number of toy cars they have and practice adding and subtracting with them.
- Music: Dance and move to the music, imagining they are driving a car in a race or exploring in a game world.
Talking Points
- English: "Let's use our words to create a story about the cars zooming around in the game worlds. What adventures will they have?"
- Math: "Count the cars with me! How many cars do we have? Can you add one more car to the group?"
- Music: "Imagine the music is the sound of your car racing through the game. Let's move and dance like we're driving in a race!"
