Objective

By the end of this lesson, you will be able to solve a code and complete a scavenger hunt while practicing English and Math skills.

Materials and Prep

Materials: Pen, paper, ruler, and a small prize for completing the scavenger hunt.

Prep: Create a simple code using numbers to represent letters for the scavenger hunt.

Activities

  • Create a Code: Use numbers to represent each letter of the alphabet. For example, A=1, B=2, C=3, and so on.

  • Write Clues: Write clues using the code you created. Each clue should lead to the next clue location.

  • Scavenger Hunt: Hide the clues in different locations around the house or backyard. Start the scavenger hunt and solve the code to find the final prize!
