Objective

By the end of this lesson, you will be able to understand the process of growing sunflowers and care for them properly.

Materials and Prep

Materials needed:

  • Sunflower seeds
  • Pots or garden space
  • Watering can
  • Soil
  • Sunlight

Before starting, make sure you have a sunny spot where you can grow your sunflowers and have all the materials ready.

Activities

1. Planting Sunflower Seeds: Plant sunflower seeds in pots or directly in the garden soil. Make sure to water them gently.

2. Observing Growth: Keep track of the growth of your sunflowers by measuring their height weekly.

3. Sunflower Art: Get creative and draw or paint pictures of sunflowers in your art time.
