Objective

By the end of this lesson, you will be able to analyze contextual factors, attitudes, and behaviors to effectively promote health, safety, wellbeing, and participation in physical activity.

Materials and Prep

  • Water bottle
  • Open space for physical activities

No prior knowledge is required, just come ready to participate and have fun!

Activities

  • Warm-up: Dynamic Stretching
    Start with light jogging in place, arm circles, leg swings, and trunk twists to prepare your body for the activities ahead.
  • Circuit Training
    Create a circuit with exercises like squats, push-ups, jumping jacks, and planks. Perform each exercise for 30 seconds with a 15-second rest in between.
  • Obstacle Course Challenge
    Set up a fun obstacle course with cones, hurdles (use pillows or cushions), and a skipping rope. Time yourself to see how fast you can complete the course.
  • Cool Down: Yoga and Meditation
    Finish the session with some relaxing yoga poses and deep breathing exercises to cool down and relax your body.
