Objective

Materials and Prep
- Painting supplies (paints, brushes, canvas or paper)
- Books or articles about famous painters and their works
- Writing materials (pencil, paper)
Before starting the lesson, the student should have basic knowledge of painting techniques and be able to read independently.
Activities
- Research a Famous Painter: Have the student choose a famous painter they are interested in and ask them to find a book or article about the painter's life and works. Encourage them to take notes on important details.
- Reading and Reflection: Instruct the student to read the selected book or article about the painter. After reading, ask them to reflect on how the painter's life and experiences influenced their artwork. Have them write a short paragraph or create a visual representation of their thoughts.
- Painting Inspired by Literature: Provide the student with a selection of books or poems. Have them choose one and read it. Then, ask them to create a painting inspired by the emotions, themes, or imagery in the literature piece.
