Materials needed: Paints (preferably watercolors), paintbrushes, paper, water cup, paper towels.
No prior knowledge required, just bring your creativity and enthusiasm!
Activities
- Color Mixing: Mix different colors together to see what new colors you can create. Try mixing red and blue to make purple!
- Shape Hunt: Look around your house for objects of different shapes. Paint these shapes and name them as you go along.
- Nature Painting: Go outside and observe the flowers, trees, and animals. Paint what you see and talk about the colors and shapes you notice.
Talking Points
- Colors: "Did you know that mixing blue and yellow makes green? Let's try it out!"
- Shapes: "Can you paint a circle like the sun? What other shapes can you find around us?"
- Nature: "Look at the beautiful flowers! Let's paint them using different colors. What colors do you see in the garden?"
