Activities
- Create Your Own Shield: Provide Teddy with cardboard, markers, and scissors to design and cut out his own knight shield.
- Coloring Knights: Print out coloring pages of knights for Teddy to color and learn about different parts of knight armor.
- Build a Castle: Use building blocks or cardboard to construct a castle and explain the role of castles in medieval times.
Talking Points
- Knights were brave warriors who wore shiny armor and rode horses. You could say, "Knights were like superheroes in the olden days, protecting people and fighting dragons!"
- Castles were big stone buildings where knights lived and kept their treasures. You could say, "Imagine living in a castle like a king or queen, with big walls and towers!"
- Knights followed a code of honor called chivalry, which meant they had to be kind and brave. You could say, "Knights were like real-life superheroes, always helping others and being very polite!"
