Activities
- Warm-up exercises: Start with gentle stretches to warm up your muscles. Focus on your legs, feet, and core.
- Basic ballet positions: Learn and practice the five basic ballet positions - first, second, third, fourth, and fifth position.
- Plies: Perform plies in each position. Start with demi-plie (half bend) and progress to grand plie (full bend).
- Tendus: Practice tendus, which involve pointing and flexing your feet while keeping your legs straight. Perform tendus in different directions and positions.
- Pirouettes: Learn the technique for executing a pirouette, a graceful spinning turn on one foot. Start with simple turns and gradually increase difficulty.
- Choreography: Create a short ballet routine using the positions and movements you have learned. Experiment with different combinations and express your creativity.
