Objective

By the end of this lesson, you will be able to recognize and learn about flags from different countries around the world.

Materials and Prep

Materials needed: Paper, colored pencils or crayons, world map (optional)

No prior knowledge required, just enthusiasm and creativity!

Activities

  • Create Your Own Flag: Design your own flag using colors and symbols that represent you. What would your flag look like?

  • Coloring Flags: Print out or draw flags of different countries and color them in. Learn about the colors and symbols used in each flag.

  • Flag Hunt: Look around your house for items that have flags on them. Can you find any flags on clothes, books, or objects?
