Objective

By the end of this lesson, you will create a special Father's Day card for your dad using torn paper and your drawings.

Materials and Prep

Materials Needed:

  • Colorful construction paper
  • Glue stick
  • Scissors
  • Markers or crayons

Prep: Cut out heart shapes from the construction paper for the card.

Activities

  • Decorate the Father's Day card by filling in the heart shape with torn pieces of paper.

  • Draw a picture of you and your dad inside the card.

  • Write a sweet message or "I love you, Dad" on the card.
