Objective

By the end of this lesson, you will have fun while improving your physical skills and coordination through Lego-themed activities.

Materials and Prep

  • Lego bricks
  • Open space for movement
  • Energy and enthusiasm!

Activities

  • Lego Balance Beam: Create a straight line of Lego bricks on the floor and challenge yourself to walk on it without falling off. This will help improve your balance.
  • Lego Hopscotch: Use different colored Lego bricks to create a hopscotch pattern on the floor. Hop from one brick to another, calling out the colors as you go. This will improve your coordination.
  • Lego Relay Race: Set up a start and finish line using Lego bricks. Run back and forth between the lines, picking up and placing a Lego brick each time. This will help with your speed and agility.
