Objective
By the end of this lesson, the student will be able to identify and recognize all the letters of the alphabet.
Materials and Prep
Materials: Alphabet flashcards or printed alphabet sheets.
Prep: Familiarize yourself with the alphabet sequence and have the materials ready.
Activities
1. Alphabet Hunt: Hide the alphabet flashcards around the room and have the student find them. As they find each letter, have them say the letter out loud.
2. Alphabet Song: Sing the alphabet song together. Encourage the student to sing along and point to each letter as they sing.
3. Letter Tracing: Using a printed alphabet sheet, have the student practice tracing each letter with their finger while saying the letter out loud.
4. Alphabet Story: Create a simple story where each object or character's name starts with a different letter of the alphabet. Have the student repeat the letters as they are mentioned in the story.
