Objective

By the end of this lesson, you will be able to create a collage featuring 3 groups of 6 photos of different occupations, with names and descriptions for each occupation.

Materials and Prep

  • Magazines or printed images of occupations
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Construction paper or poster board
  • Pen or marker
  • Clear workspace

No prior knowledge required, just bring your creativity!

Activities

  • Create 3 groups of 6 photos each by cutting out images of different occupations from magazines or printed materials.
  • Glue the photos onto the construction paper or poster board in an organized and visually appealing manner.
  • Write the name of each occupation on separate individual cards and place them next to the corresponding photo group.
  • Write a brief description of each occupation below the photos to explain what each job entails.
  • Present your collage to someone else and explain why you chose those specific occupations.
