Materials and Prep
- Blue construction paper
- White paper
- Markers or crayons
- Scissors
- Glue
- Prepare some ocean-themed images for reference
Activities
Create an ocean scene: Have the student draw and color ocean animals and plants on the blue construction paper. Cut out some white paper waves and glue them onto the blue paper.
Counting seashells: Draw some seashells on a paper and ask the student to count them. Encourage them to color each shell as they count.
Shape recognition with fish: Draw different shapes of fish on a paper and ask the student to identify the shapes. They can color the fish afterward.
