No prior knowledge required. Just come with a love for baking!
Activities
- Counting Ingredients: Count the number of eggs, cups of flour, and spoons of sugar as we gather our ingredients.
- Measuring Fun: Use measuring cups and spoons to measure out the ingredients needed for our recipe.
- Shape Sorting: Cut out cookie dough into different shapes like circles, squares, and triangles to learn about shapes.
- Counting Cookies: Count the number of cookies we have made after they come out of the oven.
Talking Points
- "Let's count together how many eggs we need for our yummy cake. One, two, three eggs!"
- "Can you help me find the right measuring cup for the flour? Let's see which one says '1 cup'."
