Objective

By the end of this lesson, you will have learned about the beach environment, engaged in physical activities inspired by the beach, and explored the social aspects of visiting the beach.

Materials and Prep

- Beach towel or mat
- Sunscreen
- Water bottle
- Notebook and pen
- Comfortable clothing for physical activities

Before starting the lesson, make sure you have a basic understanding of what a beach is and why people enjoy going there.

Activities

1. Beach Yoga: Start your day with some relaxing beach yoga poses such as the "Sun Salutation" to energize your body and mind.

2. Sandcastle Building: Get creative and build your own sandcastle complete with moats, towers, and decorations.

3. Beach Scavenger Hunt: Create a list of items commonly found at the beach such as seashells, seaweed, or beach toys, and go on a scavenger hunt to find them.

4. Beach Clean-Up: Show your love for the environment by picking up any trash you find on the beach and properly disposing of it.
