Materials and Prep
Materials needed: notebook, pencil, magnifying glass, outdoor space (backyard or park)
Prep: Familiarize yourself with common plants and insects in the outdoor space.
Activities
1. Nature Walk Scavenger Hunt: Take a walk in the outdoor space and find different living things. Use the magnifying glass to observe them up close.
2. Plant Observation: Choose a plant and draw it in your notebook. Note down its color, size, and any special features you see.
3. Bug Hunt: Look for insects in the outdoor space. Observe their movements and try to describe them in your notebook.
