Objective

Audrey will explore strategies to manage physical, social, and emotional changes through fun and engaging activities.

Materials and Prep

  • Comfortable clothing and shoes
  • Open space for movement
  • Positive attitude and willingness to try new things

Activities

  • Emotion Charades: Act out different emotions and have Audrey guess what they are. Discuss how to manage each emotion.
  • Obstacle Course: Create a simple obstacle course with pillows, chairs, and other household items. Practice problem-solving and physical coordination.
  • Dance Party: Put on Audrey's favorite music and dance freely to express emotions and have fun!

Talking Points

  • Emotions are Normal: "It's okay to feel different emotions like happiness, sadness, and anger. We all feel them sometimes."
  • Problem-Solving: "When we face obstacles, we can think of different ways to overcome them. What creative solutions can you come up with?"
  • Express Yourself: "Dancing is a great way to show how you feel without using words. How does this dance make you feel?"
