Activities
- Feelings Drawing: Draw different faces showing happy, sad, angry, and calm emotions. Discuss what makes you feel each way.
- Mindful Breathing: Practice taking deep breaths and counting to 3 while inhaling and exhaling. Notice how it makes you feel.
- Emotion Charades: Act out different emotions for your family to guess. Talk about how your body feels when you show each emotion.
Talking Points
- Happy: "When we are happy, we feel like smiling and laughing. What makes you happy?"
- Sad: "Sometimes we feel sad and want to cry. It's okay to feel sad. What makes you feel better when you're sad?"
