Materials and Prep

  • Comfortable clothes and shoes for outdoor exploration
  • A notebook and colored pencils
  • A magnifying glass (optional)

No prior knowledge needed, just bring your curiosity and enthusiasm!

Activities

  • Go on a nature walk in your backyard or local park. Observe plants, insects, and animals.
  • Take your notebook and draw or write about the interesting things you see.

  • Collect leaves, rocks, or flowers. Create a nature collage or a mini nature museum at home.
  • Arrange your collected items in a creative way and label them.

  • Listen to the sounds of nature. Close your eyes and try to identify different sounds like birds chirping or leaves rustling.
  • Write down the sounds you hear and try to mimic them.
