Materials and Prep
Materials needed: paper, pencil, eraser
No prior knowledge required, just come prepared to have fun with writing!
Activities
- Brainstorming: Think of a topic you want to write about. Write down all your ideas and thoughts related to that topic.
- Creating an Outline: Organize your brainstormed ideas into an outline with an introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion.
- Writing Draft: Use your outline to write a rough draft of your piece. Don't worry about mistakes at this stage.
- Editing and Revising: Review your draft, check for errors, and make improvements to your writing.
- Final Draft: Write your final version of the piece, incorporating all the changes from the editing stage.
