Activities
- Introduce the concept of painting and explain that it is a way to create art using colors and brushes.
- Show different examples of paintings, such as landscapes, still life, and abstract art. Discuss what the child sees in each painting and encourage them to share their thoughts.
- Provide the child with watercolor paints, brushes, and watercolor paper. Demonstrate how to dip the brush in water, then pick up some paint and apply it to the paper. Encourage them to experiment with different colors and brush strokes.
- Allow the child to freely explore and create their own painting. Offer guidance and suggestions if needed, but let them express their creativity and imagination.
- Once the painting is complete, encourage the child to describe their artwork and what it represents to them. Display the finished painting in a special place to showcase their accomplishment.
