Activities
- Introduction to Colors: Show the different colors of paint and name them. Let the student practice identifying the colors by pointing to them.
- Color Mixing Exploration: Encourage the student to experiment with mixing different colors on a palette or directly on the paper. Discuss the new colors that are created and ask the student what they observe.
- Painting Shapes: Provide the student with various shapes cut out of paper or stencils. Let them paint inside the shapes using their favorite colors.
- Free Painting: Allow the student to freely paint on a blank canvas or paper. Encourage them to express their creativity and emotions through their artwork.
- Collaborative Painting: If there are other siblings or family members, invite them to join in on a collaborative painting. Each person can contribute to the artwork by adding their own brushstrokes or designs.
