Activities
- Start by discussing what a city is and ask the student to share any prior knowledge they have about cities.
- Show the student pictures or posters of different city communities and ask them to identify the key features they observe.
- Using a computer or tablet, explore a virtual tour of a city. Encourage the student to observe the buildings, transportation, parks, and other aspects of the city.
- Have the student draw their own imaginary city community, including important features they learned about.
