Activities

• Color Exploration: Start by cutting different colored papers into various shapes (squares, circles, triangles). Discuss how mixing colors can create new shades. For example, if you mix blue and yellow, what color do you get?

• Shape Collage: Using the shapes cut out earlier, the student can arrange them on a larger piece of paper to create a fun scene or abstract design. Encourage them to think about how the shapes can fit together.

• Texture Adventure: If available, they can add texture by crumpling some paper or using different types of paper (like tissue paper). Discuss how different textures can make art more interesting!

• Final Touches: Once the collage is assembled, the student can use markers or crayons to add details or draw around the shapes. Encourage them to be creative and add anything they want!
