Activities

1. Warm-up: Start by discussing your favorite Disney songs with your student. Ask them to name a few songs they love and why. Encourage them to share their thoughts and feelings about the songs.

2. Introduce the concept of reading lyrics. Show your student the printed lyrics of a Disney song they enjoy. Explain that lyrics are the words to a song and that reading them helps us understand and sing along to the song.

3. Choose a Disney song together and play it. Encourage your student to follow along with the lyrics as the song plays. Sing along together and emphasize the words as you read them.

4. Repeat the previous step with different Disney songs, allowing your student to choose their favorites. Encourage them to read along with the lyrics and sing along confidently.

5. Optional extension activity: If you have musical instruments or props related to Disney songs, incorporate them into the singing session. For example, use a toy microphone or tambourine to enhance the experience and make it more interactive.
