Activities
-
Animal Exploration Walk: Take a walk around the animal sanctuary or petting zoo. Look for different animals and talk about what makes each one special. How do they move? What do they eat? What sounds do they make?
-
Animal Care Role Play: Pretend to be an animal caretaker! Discuss what animals need to be happy and healthy. You can act out feeding, grooming, or even giving them a bath!
-
Animal Movement Games: Play games that mimic animal movements! For example, hop like a bunny, waddle like a duck, or slither like a snake. This will help keep your body active and have fun!
-
Creative Drawing: After visiting, sit down and draw your favorite animal you saw. Use crayons to make it colorful and share why you like that animal!
