Materials and Prep
- Paper
- Pencil or crayons
- Scissors
- Glue
No prior knowledge is required for this lesson.
Activities
- Draw and Cut: Ask the student to draw pictures of various objects on separate pieces of paper. Then, have them cut out the pictures.
- Sort and Glue: Provide two large sheets of paper labeled "Living" and "Non-living". Instruct the student to sort the cut-out pictures into the appropriate categories and glue them onto the respective papers.
- Discussion: Engage in a conversation with the student about why certain objects were categorized as living or non-living. Encourage them to explain their reasoning and ask questions to further their understanding.
