Objective

By the end of this lesson, Max will explore the themes of adventure and friendship in both One Piece and Doctor Who, while creating an art project that reflects these themes. He will also learn about historical events that inspired these stories and understand scientific concepts related to time travel and exploration.

Materials and Prep

  • Paper and colored pencils or markers
  • Access to a computer or device for research
  • Books or articles about pirates, time travel, and the history of exploration
  • Knowledge of the main characters and themes in One Piece and Doctor Who

Activities

  • Character Creation:

    Max will create his own character that could fit into the One Piece or Doctor Who universe. He can draw the character and write a short backstory that includes their adventures and friendships.

  • Time Travel Exploration:

    Max will research a historical event involving exploration, such as the Age of Discovery, and prepare a short presentation about it. He can relate it to the adventures in Doctor Who.

  • Art Project:

    Max will create a visual representation of his character or a scene from One Piece or Doctor Who. He can use his colored pencils or markers to bring his imagination to life on paper.
